An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of “burglar you are not welcome here”

Are you familiar with the sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach when you first recognize something is out of place? Recently we responded to an alarm at their residence and dispatched the police. Telltale signs can be quite small, and we were informed later by the customer that upon his wife’s arrival home she found that the latches were up instead of down on one of the window locks.
